Sean O’Brien’s tenth book of poems, It Says Here, is to be published by Picador in May 2020. It combines a new collection of poems and the book-length poem Hammersmith. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the T.S. Eliot and Forward Prizes. He is Professor of Creative Writing at Newcastle University.
