'A Poem for Our Times': Poetry Centre Joins with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust for Staff Poetry Competition

The Poetry Centre has joined with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust to support their inaugural staff poetry competition. The competition is asking Trust staff to write  'a poem for our times’ - a poem that captures the spirit of now, spanning everything from where we are to where we want to be. Inspiration can be taken from: family; equality; health; political debate; wellbeing; or thanks. Simon Armitage, our Professor of Poetry has agreed to act as Chief Judge while other members of the Centre with assist Trust staff in judging the entries. The deadline for entries is 10 December.
