The Poetry Centre is always looking to further its engagement with poetry by working with new partners. We are keen to develop new audiences by collaborating with other poets and other cultural and educational organisations. We already work with Stand magazine, an independent international literary quarterly based in Leeds which publishes poetry and short stories; we are a partner with the Leeds Peace Poetry Competition through which we engage with schools in the Leeds area by offering workshops, organizing the judging, and hosting the gala prize-giving; and we work with poetry publishers Arc publications and Peepal Tree Press in our annual calendar of events, including readings by visiting poets.

The Poetry Centre is a partner in the Leeds Peace Poetry Competition. Since 2012 it has offered writing workshops, administered the judging, and hosted the prize-giving.
