Double Acclaim for Douglas Caster Fellow Vahni Capildeo

Congratulations to Douglas Caster Cultural Fellow Vahni Capildeo whose new collection, Venus as a Bear, has been shortlisted for The Forward Prize for Best Collection. The Forward Prizes for Poetry are the most coveted awards for poetry published in Britain and Ireland and have played a key role in bringing contemporary poetry to the attention of the wider public for a quarter of a century. The 27th annual Forward Prizes will be awarded on 18 September 2018 at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre. Tickets and further information can be found here.
