Poetry@Leeds at Ilkley Literature Festival

Poetry@Leeds will be at Ilkley Literature Festival.

Participating poets include J.R. Carpenter (p a u s e., Broken Sleep Books), Kris Johnson, (Vast Kingdom of Nowhere, Bloodaxe), Jennifer Wong (Light Year, Nine Arches Press), Michael Sutton (The White Hart, The Red Ceiling Press) and Kimberly Campanello (An Interesting Detail, Bloomsbury). Poetry@Leeds is also contributing to the Word Up North New Northern Poets development scheme.

Alongside this activity, former Poetry@Leeds Director and editor of Stand magazine Professor John Whale will offer a writing workshop, as will Hannah Copley (University of Leeds PhD alumna). Trustee of The Rialto Matt Howard (Poetry@Leeds Manager and Douglas Caster Fellow 2021-2023) will contribute a poetry reading and 1-to-1 mentoring alongside Whale and Copley for the New Northern poets scheme.
